Is Olympia Artesian Vodka gluten-free?
Yes. Our vodka is distilled from corn, so it's naturally gluten-free.
What makes the water used to craft Olympia vodka different? Why does it matter?
The natural artesian water used to craft Olympia Vodka is drawn from a historic well that once supplied the Olympia Brewery. We haul the water about 3 miles across town, 1,050 gallons at a time. The water contains natural minerals from the filtration process, deep within the Earth. The Tumwater artesian water has such a rich history in our area.
In 1895, Leopold Schmidt sent 2 demijohns of water to the Whal-Henius Institute for testing. After receiving the test results, Mr. Schmidt announced, “With this water I believe I can brew better beer than ever”! (We think he was on to something).
Where can I buy Olympia Artesian Vodka?
Olympia Artesian Vodka is currently available in Washington, Oregon, and Montana.
In Washington, look for Olympia Vodka at select Safeway, Albertsons, Grocery Outlet, Total Wine & More, and BevMo! locations, as well as many independent liquor retailers, bars, and restaurants. Availability varies by location, so we recommend contacting the store before visiting.
In Oregon, Olympia Vodka is available through more than 100 OLCC liquor stores across the state. In Montana, it is available through participating state agency liquor stores. If your local Oregon or Montana liquor store does not currently carry Olympia Vodka, ask whether it can be requested or special ordered.
Adults age 21 and older may also purchase Olympia Vodka directly from our tasting room at Olympia Distilling Co. in Tumwater, Washington.

What Olympia Vodka products are currently available?
Olympia Distilling Co. produces two Olympia vodka expressions, crafted and bottled in Tumwater, Washington.
Olympia Artesian Vodka is our award-winning, 80-proof original vodka. Made from corn and naturally gluten-free, it is crafted with natural Tumwater artesian water and is available in 750 ml and 1.75 L bottles.
Olympia Orange Vodka is our 60-proof flavored vodka, made with real oranges and no artificial flavors or colors. It is available in a 750 ml bottle.

No. Olympia Artesian Vodka is produced by Olympia Distilling Co. in Tumwater, Washington, under license from the owner of the historic Olympia brand. Olympia Distilling Co. is not responsible for the production, availability, sales, or distribution of Olympia Beer.

About Olympia Distilling Co.
When was Olympia Distilling Co. established?
Our distilling story began in 2011 with the business that would later operate as Shoebox Spirits. In 2018, Pabst Brewing Company approached us about producing a distilled spirit under the historic Olympia brand. We built Olympia Distilling Co. in Tumwater, Washington, in 2019 and began operating from our new distillery in early 2020.
What is the relationship between Olympia Distilling Co. and the historic Olympia brand?
Olympia Distilling Co. produces Olympia Vodka under license from Pabst Brewing Company, owner of the historic Olympia brand. Olympia Distilling Co. is a locally owned and operated Washington company responsible for crafting, bottling, marketing, and selling Olympia Vodka from our distillery in Tumwater.
Is Olympia Vodka locally owned and made?
Yes. Olympia Distilling Co. is locally owned and operated by Washington natives Lesa Givens and Ray Watson. Both are working distillers who are actively involved in crafting, bottling, and growing Olympia Vodka from the company’s distillery in Tumwater, Washington.
